The TriEase Seasonal Blend is dōTERRA's allergy solution. It is a softgel capsule consisting of equal parts lavender, peppermint, and lemon. As our family has shifted from certain pharmaceutical medications and found more holistic or natural alternatives to minor discomforts, we have found the TriEase Seasonal Blend to make an exceptional difference in our allergy response whether it's spring blossoms, summer ragweed, or fall tree pollen (because Virginia has three seasons of allergies!), they have helped us with each irritant season accordingly.
Now, if you are nursing, pregnant, or taking other specific medication, always consult your doctor before deciding if these allergy softgels are an appropriate alternative for you. I personally took these while pregnant (despite the mixed feedback from the midwives regarding ingesting essential oils in general) and felt that it helped my allergy tendencies as they usually did when I was not pregnant. I will stress however to take this after you have food in your stomach! Our family has found that it makes you feel nauseous on an empty stomach (like taking vitamins on an empty stomach), and can also make your belches lemony fresh. Which, might actually be a benefit depending on the person.
Now, to break down the benefits of each essential oil included in this blend. Lavender is renown for its soothing properties. Likewise in this blend, it helps to calm and balance the body and other ingredients when consumed. Peppermint essential oil supports ease of breathing and a healthy respiratory system when ingested. Lemon essential oil is used in cleansing the body's systems and to aid in respiratory discomfort. This balanced trifecta is contained within a soft tapioca shell which is easy to swallow.
To put these benefits in other terms that I have found for myself:
Lavender keeps your body response such as coughing and sneezing calm, and also soothes anxiety and agitations that environmental disturbances may cause. Being more at ease keeps your immune system stronger.
Peppermint helps with breathing, keeping clean and clear throat and nasal function which is extremely helpful during allergy season! Additionally, I have found that peppermint soothes my stomach when it's upset and I like to think that it helps balance this mix of essential oils for my body.
Lemon is a cleanser. We add it to our water for a refreshing and invigorating taste. The benefits it gives our bodies when ingested is cleansing our internal systems from environmental threats, such as pollen, which our bodies may react to. By keeping our systems clean, it keeps our bodies strong (like an oil change on your car).
It is recommended to store these allergy pills in a cool, dry space, but I will admit to carrying them in a small pill case for on-the-go relief. I attest that they usually hold up well to summer heat in a purse or the car. The recommended dose is 1-2 softgels per day, but I usually only have one, unless my allergies are bad in which case, I might have a second in the afternoon to ease the drive home.

Please keep in mind, that every body is different. Essential oils or herbs may be beneficial for one person and not another, or for one area of focus and not another. While I myself prefer herbs and oils, I have had areas of focus where this was not enough for my body and I needed additional medicine that my doctor prescribed for me. Then we have a matter of preference. For instance, Chase prefers the allergy relief that you buy in store as opposed to dōTERRA's seasonal blend. Each person is different and this is all good. In addition to consulting your doctor before deciding if this allergy relief alternative is right for you, please to not give these to children, especially toddlers. Essential oil ratios for children need to be diluted for their little bodies, and it's better that kids receive these benefits either via aromatherapy or topically, such as a rollerball to apply to their feet.
What is most important is learning what methods work best and are harmonious for your body.
